This guy mentions turning on the air conditioning/climate control remotely so that the 415v battery kicks in via the DC to DC converter to top up a low 12v battery

I must try this with my 'e' should my 12v battery drops

For what it's worth:
I'm finding, if I limit my speed to 40mph max, I gain approximately 20% on range compared to the actual distance travelled

Rewmac1 -I don't think the keyless entry can be disabled to enable the car to be locked and unlocked by the fob buttons only?

I'm not thinking of driving on flooded roads intentionally , but on a journey you might encounter large/deep flooded puddles and pot holes
