Re: Quick Plug-In Charge Error / Slower DC Charging?
An update... The charger did indeed appear to be back to normal and had behaved for several months. The previously documented speeds were seemingly down to the chargers rather than the car itself, and I was able to undertake several long journeys with many rapid stops (including a marathon between M...

Re: Quick Plug-In Charge Error / Slower DC Charging?
Just as an update I'm now charging at a Shell 175kW charger in Buckden. Was at around 33% arriving, the highest speed it's managed is 38kW. At around 60% it dropped all the way down to 26kW, then crawled back up to 30kW. It stayed there for good 10 minutes, but at around 78% charge it crashed down t...

Quick Plug-In Charge Error / Slower DC Charging?
Last night I plugged into an Instavolt charger in Sheffield for a quick top-up. After trying to initiate a charge, the status indicator flashed red and brought up the "Quick Plug-In Charging System Problem. Standard Charging Is Available." error message. This has come up a couple of times ...

Re: Front and back emblems?
You can always go for the prototype look with these: These actually don't look too bad, wonder where they're from haha There's a few results for 'glowing honda badge', but reverse image searching led me here. Quite a lot to choose from. Though I've never heard of this website and I'd be hesitant to...

Re: Order Update: no more base models
Really sad to hear but also unsurprising. It's still a total rarity in the UK and even two years post release it seems to get more looks than any other EV out there. I'm very conflicted on what to do when my PCP runs out next September. I don't think I'll keep it- as much as I absolutely love the ca...

Re: IONIQ 5
The IONIQ 5 is definitely the front runner for my next car, not just for its looks but practicality-wise in its battery/charging speed. I don't think I'll keep the E at the end of my contract... the car is wonderful and I love it to bits but the range has been a real problem, especially in winter. T...

Re: Storm Eunice
I guess the biggest barrier is Honda's plug being on the inside of the car... You'd have to dangle an extension lead out of the car window, which probably wouldn't end well in a storm, unless if there's another method I'm unaware of? But yeah, I did charge up my car just in case I lost power; thankf...

Re: Honda E Widebody Kit
I think it looks ace. I'd be hesitant to do the same to mine but I'd definitely want to take one for a spin.

Re: Power system indicator warning
Just had it come up for me. Was plugged in on the drive with climate control on, got in and it flashed up. No noticeable impact on performance, no problems with charging. It's been absolutely hammering it down here for the last couple days, so at first I thought it might've been water ingress (thoug...
