Re: Honda E Openpilot Support

Any updates on this? I’m considering it for both the IONIQ and Honda e. Would it be possible to have one device but a harness for each car, so you can switch? As the Honda e can self park, it definitely has the possibility to turn the wheel from lock to lock. So it should in theory work great with ...

Re: Honda E Openpilot Support

It is a very good technology and I Iike it but 2000eur is too much because in the end I am sure will never be as smooth and reliable like a human being. Same as it happened with the auotpark feature that I never use. What is the minimum speed to work? And maximum bend? Does it work in the city? I w...

Re: Honda E Openpilot Support

@oipoi Well, I may have been a bit hasty in my negative response, though I am still sceptical that it is of any real use on the Honda e, it seems to be at a 'proof of concept' stage after a quick look into Openpilot & comma.ai & I think we need to advise people (unless you disagree), that t...

Re: Honda E Openpilot Support

This sounded like a dodgy post to get people to view the YouTube video, so instead, I did a quick Google about what this was. Quelle surprise  I'm very skeptical that anyone would spend over $2000 on something that clearly won't work on the Honda e. Yeah was maybe worded too much like a sales...

Honda E Openpilot Support

Last week ordered a comma ai 3 for my Honda E and managed to get it to work tonight. Here’s a short video: https://youtu.be/55Xt22l-MeM It’s comparable to Tesla autopilot and light years ahead of what the built in system can manage. The code changes will soon be available on the public release versi...

Re: Greetings from Cheshire

Hi,

Would you mind doing a short video at night time with the illumination pack? Looks really neat.

Re: Power system indicator warning

Did the car charge OK after you plugged it in? If not, then maybe it was a problem with the CCS charger? I would try a different CCS charger if I could to try to confirm if it's a problem with the car or the CCS charger. Yeah the charging went uneventful, stayed for 30 minutes and it charged as exp...

Re: Power system indicator warning

Not yet, have let the car sit for 30 minutes, turned it back on again and there's no warning message anymore. Did a short drive and everything seems fine. Before plugging in the charger I just came off the highway so maybe the battery was already warm/hot. If it happens again I will get in touch wit...

Power system indicator warning

Hi,

Got this warning after plugging in the vehicle on a CCS charger. The manual says I should visit my dealer. Anybody else got the same warning?
