One fob stopped working. No red light. Battery changed. Still not working......
Tip: remember to take the child-proof sticker off the battery - doh!

Re: Door Handles
I will soon be testing a spare handle to destruction. This sounds excellent, thanks. Some hard facts about the nature of the problem(s) is desperately needed. I currently have the internal 'door clicking' symptom but have not yet been able check if it is related to the window popping down and/or th...

Re: Door Handles
Thanks for your reply. I have not had the opportunity to study the module but from the reports on this (excellent) forum there seem to be two different faults; a) lubrication/spring tension of the pop-out handle and b) one or both electrical switches. Both appear to be vulnerable to water ingress an...

Re: Door Handles
Motor Ombudsman vs Sale of Goods Act 2015? Ideally I would prefer to get the door handle unit changed immediately at my expense and seek a refund. The Motor Ombudsman gets very mixed reviews on Trust Pilot for effectiveness. But it seems to be free. Enforcing the Sale of Goods Act would involve a Sm...

Re: Door Handles & Extended Warranty
One door handle mechanism was replaced under the warranty. Now the second one needs to be replaced but I am in the extended warranty period and although the dealer has pleaded my case with Honda UK they are refusing to cover it. Replacement would cost me £640! To be fair the dealer seemed surprised ...

Re: Warrantee Claims
After 18 months of fault-free driving I suddenly have three issues; - the two infotainment screens have become intermittent - flashing on and off and flickering - the PP (parking pilot?) brake fault amber warning has come on - the door handles don't fold flat reliably (no surprises there). Aylesbury...

Re: New Honda-e owner in Finland
I'm disappointed by all this negativity. It was an experiment into EV's for me and for Honda. It is a brilliant car to own and to drive and my BMW sits on the drive every day, unless I need greater range. Yes, it has some issues but name me a car that doesn't. Forget about the app - it's a pointless...
