Re: Dead Honda e

Welcome to the club! The only thing you can do to stave off flat 12v battery is: 1) slap in new battery, larger if your feeling adventurous. This only masks the problem however. 2) fit a bm2 battery monitor. It won't fix the problem, but it will give you a lot of detail when it happens again and mig...

Re: Window wobble on front doors

Yeah I get a little clanging/ringing when I close and open the passenger one. I haven't investigated as it's normally just me. I suspect it's from where passengers slam the door a little bit, perhaps a wiring loom tie down has popped off and it clatters onto the window pane? Not worth taking the doo...

Re: HONDA E SPARES [P/N]

I think it's time for a big Honda e meetup so we can all check and compare each others cars lol. It's not that the brakes feel unbalanced, but that the feel is very smooth and soft. They are designed for comfort braking, not fine modulation requiring good feedback through the pedal (EG, the pedal sh...

Re: HONDA E SPARES [P/N]

Regardless of whether the original brakes can take a beating or not with regards to heat dissipation, much more important for fast driving is brake feel. The brake feel on the e is just absolutely terrible. Either the pads are made from wood, or the simulator interferes so much with their working as...

Re: Wiper Replacement

They are literally only £3 more expensive for the passenger side: https://www.eurocarparts.com/search/ar18u Be sure to put the wiper into parking mode. Ignition off, push up (I think, maybe towards) the wiper stalk for 10 seconds, the wipers will go up and stay up. Then and only then can you lift th...

Re: Dc Charging car to home

This is why we can't have nice things... The moment something is 'free', it just gets abused and consumption goes up. If the premise is that the 50kw charger is provided for car charging for free, it should be used for car journeys only in my mind. That will be the reason for its existence and subsi...

Re: New Car Advice

It's worth reading the small print. You are probably entitled to free paint touch ups or similar, but it might not extend to fully diamond cutting the entire rim (a significant difference in cost to do so). I seem to recall that the original tyres do not provide much rim protection (unlike some I've...
