Re: window juddering :: weird behaviour

Yup, same going home. Low fan speed = window at door opening height. Full speed on fan = window fully closed. Bug or feature? If only I knew this a couple of years ago when my window started chattering on a long journey and it was it going on for something like an hour. I think I'd prefer the fan o...

There's not a lot to do for an EV service, however by using a Honda dealer will be the only way that you'll get any module updates.

Re: Honda e Sat Nav persistent issues

We also had this problem and had it repaired under warranty (after 3 times in the garage). It was the GPS antenna for us. Once replaced by honda our apple car play now works and finds the location fine. Good luck everyone! It sounds like you had a much better experience with your Honda dealer. It's...

Re: My Honda+

I wonder if the their new e:PROGRESS Smart app will be any better, no price advertised but the e is included along with the e:Ny1 & CR-V e:PHEV. The e:PROGRESS app is free for the first year. However, given my experience with the MyHonda+ app support (it took them a month to respond to my initi...

Re: Failed brake servo/pedal simulator - a how-to DIY fix

This does not mean you can continue operating the car! You should not drive it anymore and get it trailered or flatbeded to the dealership to get it fixed. As you should not drive an ICE vehicle with an inoperative brake booster because obvious the stopping distance is massively increased. Honda ha...

Re: Failed brake servo/pedal simulator - a how-to DIY fix

The dealer experience seems consistent, unfortunately. My brake simulator failed a couple of weeks ago, and I was also denied a courtesy car after requesting one. Despite having a Honda extended warranty, I was told I had to get the car to the dealership myself (20 miles away), requiring me to use m...

Re: Failed brake servo/pedal simulator - a how-to DIY fix

... Our e has been kept by the dealer as they state it's dangerous to drive and the brakes can fail further at any time. Not great leaving me stranded on Christmas eve either I might add. We haven't received any letter or notice otherwise so redacted copies of others letter stating braking is fine ...

Re: Failed brake servo/pedal simulator - a how-to DIY fix

I'll be raising a case with the Motoring Ombudsman but won't hold my breath. So yeah it's great they're repairing this for free but a courtesy car for those where the fault has actively occurred and are awaiting parts isn't exactly an extreme request. Be prepared for a lengthy process with the Moto...
