Re: Honda E registered in 2024 - how old ?
Just checked my own - 10th digit is P, which means it was apparently built in 2023. It was delivered in May of 2023 to Iceland, but it was ordered in May of 2022 and came into Iceland through Honda EU in Belgium. It's also a Limited Edition, so there's absolutely no way it was built in 2023. I don't...

Re: Power system indicator warning
This is some fast response from the dealership. Mine would take a couple of days to contact me to tell that they might have a slot at the most inconviniet time in two weeks... Yep, I was absolutely floored that I got a call pretty much an hour later. I know where I'll be going if I'm looking to pic...

Re: Power system indicator warning
My e was delivered in May 2023, and I've had absolutely zero issues with it until this morning. Dropped my partner off at work at 07:00 since his car is in having some work done before its annual inspection, and then went to a CCS charger close by where we live as I was on 4% battery. I've used this...

Re: Screen – Rattle 3/3
I'm honestly thinking most of these creaks and rattles are ambient temperature related, personally. I've been really lucky, and have had zero creaks and rattles since I got my car delivered new in May 2023. It never gets over about 20-22°c here, even in the height of summer, and the temperatures are...

Re: Question for owners of Japanese imports - is it worth it?
the main thing that would concern me about importing a JDM e would be the need for CHAdeMO charging. I believe that you can now get CHAdeMO to CCS adaptors, e.g. CCS - CHAdeMO adapter , although they're not cheap (about A$1,457, £761 or €906). Yep, aware of this, but I didn't mention it because the...

Re: Question for owners of Japanese imports - is it worth it?
Not sure what the charging infrastructure is like in Australia and New Zealand, but the main thing that would concern me about importing a JDM e would be the need for CHAdeMO charging. In Europe, this type of charging interface is slowing becoming what MiniDisc was to the CD, and most charging infra...

Re: Loud "click" when changing from Drive to Park
I've noticed this too when I'm in underground parking and it echoes off the walls. It's the transmission lock actuator engaging/disengaging to prevent the car from rolling when in park.
Nothing to be worried about

Re: Window wobble on front doors
This. Both my Subarus do it too. Perfectly normal for frameless doors.londiniumperson wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 1:38 pm All; cars with frameless doors experience some window movement when closing the door, which is particularly noticeable with the windows down.

Re: Buying a Honda E in 2024
Given that i bought mine in 2020... I still think it's gorgeous. ;) Honda really disappointed me in not upgrading the battery (like Mini did), I still don't see myself changing even with more models (from other brands) coming out that could greatly improve my mobility given its range. Yes, the new ...

It's not even available here in Iceland, so by the sounds of it I'm not missing anything
