Re: App says bonnet is open when not
Yes, the app is a piece of crap. It took me 5 months and yelling to even get Honda to get off their asses to allow me to activate my app in the first place. Now it seems to be "working", but only very passively. It will tell me when it starts charging, warming up, or stops charging, but no...

Re: Sudden drop in charge
Calculate? Well there are 100Ah per Cell, so if I read 85Ah that's equal to 85% SoH. But I guess I don't really understand your question... I might be wrong, but as far as I know the cells are never charged to more than 90Ah. So if you are getting 85Ah, the SoH is probably closer to 94-95% (85 devi...

Re: End of production sell-off
Three years ago these dealers told us that they made zero profit on the Honda e Now somehow they can discount them by £13,500 each  Well, dealers were making zero profit on it. And worse, Honda was making about a £10,000 loss on each Honda E. The reason they discount them now, is to avoid a £...

Re: Sudden drop in charge
Yep, I've driven a few different EVs and pretty much all of them perform like this - it's kind of the same as your phone, where battery just vanishes super fast once you're at a low SoC. I think it's a psychology thing for sure. Yeah, I agree. 5% of charge is 5% of charge. However, it does *feel* l...

Re: Honda E - bidirektionales Laden?
As far as I know, the Quasar "1" is made for CCS1 (US) and CHAdeMO (Nissan Leaf) not CCS2 (Honda E).londiniumperson wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2024 8:02 pm You can buy these in the UK for around £4k

Re: Honda E - bidirektionales Laden?
I heard that the Honda E supports bidirectional charging. The charging port is an AC type 2 and CCS. How is bidirectional charging enabled? Is this possible via the AC line or is the DC connection enabled? How does the wallbox tell the car that it should now deliver electricity? Yes, the Honda E su...

Re: Chip tuning boxes for honda e
Has anyone here tried one of those chip tuning boxes e.g : Claims are either increased range or slightly better performance. Ive had racechips on previous ICE cars and they actually did slightly help pick up, especially on turbo charged engines. Wondering if anyone has tried on their E Well, they a...

Re: Quick Plug-In Charge Error / Slower DC Charging?
Just as an update I'm now charging at a Shell 175kW charger in Buckden. Was at around 33% arriving, the highest speed it's managed is 38kW. At around 60% it dropped all the way down to 26kW, then crawled back up to 30kW. It stayed there for good 10 minutes, but at around 78% charge it crashed down ...

Re: Window not fully closed when door locked
A 3rd replacement door handle fixed the window issue on my car. As far as I've experienced, the issue is caused by fog or liquid on a sensor in the door handle. I've consistently had it happen after power washed 'into' the door handle. As soon as the fog had dried up, the issue also disappeared. Bu...
