Re: Adjust headlights beam

I have slightly adjusted the headlights, and I'm happy with the aim. However, on a recent foggy day I turned off the headlights and activated the fog lights, while driving at 15 km/h or so, and realized they're aimed so near that the area they lit up is almost entirely obscured by the bonnet! My fro...

Re: Best place for the phone mount?

I've put two small metal plates inside the phone's case, in spots where they do not interfere with NFC or wireless charging, and likewise two magnet mounts on the left centre vent: IMG_20240301_221406_8.4.300s.jpg The phone sits there horizontally, supported by the "ledge" underneath, and ...

Re: Headlight colour has changed?

I swear I have noticed something very similar with my side mirror cameras. When I reverse out of my drive/cul de sac , the right hand mirror has a decidedly blue tint to the composite image / 360 view. The rest of the image looks natural. Oh certainly, the side mirror cameras clearly don't coordina...

Headlight colour has changed?

This is really weird, but a few days ago, when activating the front camera for driving into my parking spot, I noticed the light from the left headlight appeared very yellow on the screen: IMG_20240102_230005s.jpg The difference in tone on the left is nowhere near as obvious to the bare eye as it is...

Re: Adding "frunk" to the e

Oh, that's an interesting product. Looking at the LHD " engine bay ", however, I don't think there's space for a similar product. Some bits like the 12V battery and the fuse box are on the same side as on RHD cars, but there's at least one fluid reservoir in the way. Still, a smaller frunk...

Re: Dead Honda e

Thanks for the update! Did you allow updates to be installed when the car is turned off? There was a prompt before the OTA. Maybe, it is a good idea to disable the option. I would rather spend five minutes waiting for the update to be installed than find my car with a dead 12v battery. Unfortunatel...

Re: Dead Honda e

Dealership called me; Honda asked them to ask me if my car notified me of an OTA update before the 12V battery died. It did. I got the impression they're indeed suspecting a connection between the two now. The dealership contacted me again and said they've received information from Honda in Japan; ...

Re: First OTA update released!

There's been a number of 12V battery failures recently on these cars, and apparently Honda themselves suspect they might be related to the recent OTA update. As such, might be best not to be too eager to update at this time. EDIT: I've been told that should the OTA update get stuck in some step (in ...

Re: Dead Honda e

Was the test performed with the battery still connected to the vehicle? Perhaps the batteries that have depleted are a little more resilient than we had expected... Yeah, both tests were with the battery connected. Should I have questioned this? Well well...I found my old multimeter, and decided to...
