Re: 12V battery issues
What is the model number please, and I assume it fits with no problem? Panasonic was 45Ah 400A, from picture it looks like 50 /450? It's a Yuasa 5000 series - YBX5053. 450A 50Ah. Seems that most people who've had a flat battery with the original Panasonic cell (400A - 45Ah) have upgraded to this. M...

Re: Unable to start Honda e
My 12v battery went flat a couple of days back because I was a moron and left my lights on. I had all sorts of strange behavior with my lights, but the behavior you're describing with your start button was one of the things that happened with my car. Like many others on these forums, can't recommend...

Re: 12V battery issues
Installed my Yuasa 5000 series today, so things should be grand from here... I just 100% do not trust the standard Panasonic battery after everything I've heard about them.

Re: Japan Spec conversion
Adapters for CHAdeMO to CCS are slowly starting to appear on the market, but an actual conversion replacing the physical ports on the car would be a substantial amount of work I'd imagine. Not impossible though, just expensive and time consuming. An adaptor is probably the best way to go for simplic...

Re: 12V battery issues
It finally happened to me, but it was my own dumbass fault! I'm kicking myself because I've had zero issues with the car so far. I hope the flat battery isn't going to be start of any problems, because it's entirely self inflicted. We had one of those weird overcast days today that's sort of dark en...

Re: Honda e officially cancelled in UK and Europe
So if there is a legal requirement for spares to be available for 10 years in Europe we should hopefully be able to get them shipped over here.... There's no legal requirement anywhere in the world for a car manufacturer to hold spares for any length of time after they discontinue a model. Source -...

Re: 5 year service cost
The service intervals you've been quoted look completely off, compared to what's in the actual owner's manual for the car. What are the units they're quoting in terms of distance driven? They don't match up with either miles or kilometers when looking at the quoted information in the car's manual. H...

Re: Flooded Roads
Then for sure it's advisable to take another route - whether it's an ICE car or an EV, electricity and water don't mix. It's pointless risking it, and the inevitable at-fault insurance claim that comes afterward.

Re: Flooded Roads
Why would you drive on flooded roads with any regular passenger car? If you want to do this, buy a 4x4 with the appropriate ground clearance and don't risk killing a regular car with water damage, whether it's ICE or an EV.

Re: How can I stop annoying warnings after dismissing?
I think the idea is for the warning to stay there so you don't cain it while the battery is cold. It's a pain in the arse to have it keep coming up, but yeah, haven't seen anything that indicates being able to stop it, as it's one of those "critical" amber safety warnings. I agree though, ...
