Re: Navigation live traffic

I would like to know more about the settings in the garmin satnav regarding live traffic too - it looks like 'providers' can be added? I expect this would be detailed live traffic with GPS level accuracy and detail of the severity. Traffic alerts received by the RDS (Radio data system) are fairly po...

Re: Caught by the dead infrastructure

Bummer - i have scarcely brushed the surface of public charging, and already i can see this being an experience that will occur. Just come back from silverstone, not a great or huge selection on my route. 2x BP pulse CCS at brackley mini services. One in use, the other unable to read contactless pay...

Re: Home charging point

I was wondering why the dealer didn't try to sell me a charger, most likely they know the situation and steer clear as the dealer will cop the bad reviews / negative feedback for any short comings.

Re: Home Charge Points

Nice spam post danielt lol. Regarding charger installation, I went with a local electrician company who insisted on either detailed photos of the site or a live whatsapp webcall to survey the site before advising on chargers or installation details. Afterwards they provided a quote. I went for a hyp...

Re: Charging at BP Pulse

My first ever charge was at a BP Pulse on the day I collected the e - and having not researched the app or anything I just freestyled it. The card reader has a tiny screen, I waved my debit card near it, saw something flash up about min charge £30, and then proceeded to charge the e. What it seemed ...

Re: 16" wheels air pressure

My wife has a the 10th generation civic (1.5turbo cvt), and it is similarly affected by not having the tyre pressure sensors. Annoyingly, even religiously checking the tyre pressures and performing the calibration the system is still prone to failure. The scenario was that tyres were set to the fact...

Re: Lowering Springs

After having removed some lowering springs from a car - I wouldn't recommend only lowering springs without adjustable dampers. Shorter springs tend to be stiffer, and without additional damping you end up with too much oscillation over bumps. Also without the additional damping, you are at risk of h...

Re: online parts listing?

After close inspection today, the 3rd 'tang' is not integral to the latching function, and mine is indeed closing and sealing fine. The latching mechanism is a soft one and does not give positive feedback hence the confusion. No need to faff around with it thankfully.
