Re: Highest mileage
A Li-ion typically has a life expectancy of 1000 charge cycles when always charged to 100%. Thankfully the buffer that the e's BMS calculates means that the battery is only ever using 80% of its total battery capacity when charging (28.5kWh usable from 35.5kWh total). Additionally, that figure of 1...

Re: Black Chrome badges
Dream Automotive buy direct from Honda. I've used them several times to ship internationally and their prices are usually about 5% or so off what Honda retail OEM parts for. They're very reasonable so I don't think you'll get much of a better price going direct. This is where I ordered my armrest fr...

Re: Dead Honda e
Thanks for the update! Did you allow updates to be installed when the car is turned off? There was a prompt before the OTA. Maybe, it is a good idea to disable the option. I would rather spend five minutes waiting for the update to be installed than find my car with a dead 12v battery. I'm kind of ...

Re: Dead Honda e
The 12V has me worried now too though 🥴. Maybe a future update will fix that. Honestly, I was worried about the 12v too, but I've had mine since May, and no sign of any issues, despite having a dashcam pretty much hard-wired in. I'm not sure what's caused this issue with quite a few of the cars, bu...

Re: forged alloy wheel
All you need is the right wheel dimensions and offset. The hubs on the e are 5x114.3mm PCD studs, and the stock dimensions and offsets are: 16" Rims: Front: 6x16 ET50 - 185/60R16 - Offset range is 48-52mm Rear 7x16 ET45 - 205/55R16 - Offset range is 43-47mm 17" Rims: Front: 6.5x17 ET55 - 2...

Re: Should I buy one?
I'd buy again, 100% I feel like I'm one of the rare few who's had basically zero issues with their car so far (got it brand new in May, have covered 7,000km). I'll be interested to see how it handles the Icelandic winters, but as of now, it's -5°c and everything's been fine, without issue. It can be...

Re: Accident
Nope, your car doesn't record any events, the cameras only provide a live feed to the displays on the dashboard. The only way you'll get any recording is if you have an aftermarket dashcam fitted, or if you have the optional Honda dashcam installed. Is the Honda dashcam dealer fit or factory fit? I...
