Re: Charging speed type 2 public charger
Huh?.. After charging for 30 minutes+, going from 60 to 75%, it’s now ramping up the charging speed. Currently at 28A and increasing. I guess maybe the battery is just too cold. Edit: Maxed out at 29.9A, 7.4kWh. So way more than the 6.6Wh stated. I guess it’s a 30A charger and they’ve calculated wit...

Re: Charging speed type 2 public charger
I seem to only get 22.1A charging speed on my new Honda e.
With my 244V that only totals to 5.4kWh!
It says charging speed “normal”. Is there any way to increase it?
My IONIQ has a 32A charger, and I usually get 31.5A, resulting in 7.6kWh charge speed.

Re: Garmin
Hmm, I just got the car and it had 21.10. I just updated to 22.10. I also noticed that I couldn’t “register” the map in Garmin Express, it would just keep “spinning” and never let me get the chance to fill in data. I just created a user and hit download. I also tried with both 64 and 32GB which did ...

Re: Honda original armrest
Checked again. The adjustment is basically “angle” for height. So it does work, but it’s not an adjustment for height, but up to 50 degrees of angle for the armrest.
As for sideways wiggle; yes, there is some wiggle to it.

Re: Honda original armrest
I just got a new car with it installed. I don’t feel that there’s a lot of “wiggle” really?
Supposedly you can adjust it the the height with the wheel underneath, but that doesn’t seem to do anything at all…

Re: Honda App Center not working
Damnit, looks like the webpage is down as well. https://globalappcenter.com/region This does confirm what I was suspecting from the new manual - all entries regarding the apps and the App Center were removed. But does anyone have the apk for the aquarium? I’m guessing they never updated it. I’m kind...

Re: Honda App Center not working
Just received my new car.
App center shows the same message, aquarium is not installed.
Is there any way to install via USB?
This sucks..

Re: MyHonda+ Honda Digital Key subscription
I was reading up on this, and it doesn’t seem to be an Android/Apple digital key, as that uses UWB. BMW is pretty much the only brand that supports Apple Car Key, and Android doesn’t seem to have much supported brands yet either. The NFC bit here is AFAIK just a “shortcut” to the app’s digital key. ...

Re: Front and back emblems?
Type r badges would actually be cool on the red. I thought for sure it would be more than just removing the diamond cut and having a black rear (text) emblem. I’ll use my vinyl cutter to make some covers to cover them up. The nice thing is that it’s then reversible if I later grow tired of all black...

Re: Honda E Openpilot Support
Any updates on this? I’m considering it for both the IONIQ and Honda e. Would it be possible to have one device but a harness for each car, so you can switch? As the Honda e can self park, it definitely has the possibility to turn the wheel from lock to lock. So it should in theory work great with t...
