Re: Range and charging rate.

To be fair to the electric Mini, the petrol and diesel versions have equally horrible ergonomics - and don’t get me started on the horrendous engine characteristics of the 1.6 diesel. In short, it’s probably as good as the heritage allows it to be, and converting ICE cars is a stop gap measure at b...

Re: Range and charging rate.

I don't think the electronics will make much difference. It's probably all in the drivetrain and maybe the body shape. It's heavy too compared to the Mini. Agreed, the E is heavy and its felt in the way it rides - good and bad (acc. review the Mini suffers more from battery weight though). Regardin...

We've heard it all somehow somewhere before – still a very fresh and entertaining variation:

I really like this review. His opinion is closest to my own of any english reviews I have seen.

Re: Range and charging rate.

I quess its industry standard or WLTP instruction to base range on installed battery capacity rather than available capacity. I see both Audi and BMW/Mini does the same. Tesla on the other hand gives the custumer access to almost all the battery, but provides a warning about fully charging and empty...

Re: Range and charging rate.

Update/getting wiser/still learning: Regarding range, I realized an important aspect this week. WLTP comsumption and range doesn't go together in real life. WLTP consumption is around 159Wh/km. Range claimed 220km. 159*220=35kWh which is the size of the battery. However available battery size is 28-...

Re: Range and charging rate.

Hi Trykpaa, Sorry off topic but can you tell me please if any of the 4 usb sockets keep charging when the car is completely off please? Nerdy question 🤔 I had to try. USBs are not powered when car is off. However. You can leave the car off, but powered on. It will ask you when you leave the car, if...

Re: Range and charging rate.

Longer than WLTP in city driving? That's interesting! If you won't mind me asking, whereabouts in Denmark are you using it? I'm living and working in Copenhagen, and expect to use it mostly within the city itself and the suburbs, so a more-than-WLTP-range sounds almost too good to be true. I am fro...

Re: Range and charging rate.

Hi I'm new here. We got a Blue E a month ago. Here in DK its about the same price as the new Jazz Hybrid, so almost a sensible choice in the Honda model range. I don't understand all the fuss about range, but I assume its from people not really in the market for a electric city car with 200km range....

Re: Wheels!

18" will look awesome on the E, I am sure 😉 Those from my Civic may fit. Have to try it one day.
