Re: Charging speed type 2 public charger
I'm located in Poland and using Tauron's charging station (Tauron is one of the biggest energy providers here). By their own online specs, their charging stations should be able to provide 32A as they state: Max 3x 32A 22 kW – 44 kW But it might be as well, that this particular station is for exampl...

Charging speed type 2 public charger
Hi Guys, Today I've used type 2 public charger for the first time. Not quick ccs2 DC type, just type 2 AC charger. It's rated at 22kw max output. I understand that E can charge around 6+kw from such charger. I'm using GreenCell single phase type 2 cable, bought on Amazon. Now according to the data m...

BTW, what do you mean by new carplay? Latest carplay (ios16) just works with the car? Apple introduced the new CarPlay at the WWDC this year. First supported cars should arrive in late 2023, Honda is part of the car brands who showed interest. It would just look super hot in the Honda e. Here you f...

Re: Potential new 'e' owner
Regarding CP: with iphone, it works flawless over wireless. I have had 3 phones paired, no issues whatsoever. Also it switches between the phones so if I ride the car today and my wife tomorrow, the phone will switch. I had problems with bt-based connections with cars before, they were reluctant to ...

Re: Octopus Go or not Go?
I would suggest the same. And it leaves you with psychological flexiblity when to charge, leaving out the anxiety of "I need to charge overnight because of lower rates so I can't drive the car today because I need to wait until night to charge "

Re: Octopus Go or not Go?
Just keep in mind that 10-90% charge with 3-pin would take around 13-14hrs or something in that ballpark. So, either you're not taking advantage of the 4hr window during night or you need to get wallbox, then 10-90% could be closer to 5hrs probably.

Re: Hi from Zurich
As I've discussed in another thread, there was no update to the car software since launch (so, 2 years now). I suspect, there might not be an update at all. Honda will launch new e-cars with updated software, and not develop the Honda e software any further. Unfortunately, nobody seems to do it the ...

Re: How much?
I did some mixed driving today, about 50-60km with heating (outside 10-13C, inside 20C). 25% of the distance was city driving with lights etc, 75% was motorway with speeds 100-120 with very occassional 130kph. The average power usage after this trip was around 21kwh/100km.
