Re: Tesla charger

When did you get this update? Did they provide any other information about this update? They updated the firmware after I had a charge error in early April this year. If I remember correctly they said the update was dated from summer 2022... They had no information on what the update did, no inform...

After this update I have had no issues with any charger (knock on wood). Even Tesla V2 chargers.

Re: Quick Plug-in charging system problem

See this topic: Tesla Supercharger Network Opened To Non-Tesla In UK Interesting. Seems very similar problem, although mine is not caused by Tesla charger. I just tried charging with a 22 kW AC charger (7,2 kW for Honda e) and the charging worked but it did not clear the errors. Then I tried chargi...

Re: All-season tire reccomendations

Thanks again! But you kinda talked me into the Goodyears :D I'm going to go with that. Can I ask where did you buy and get yours installed? I was a bit lazy, and I have an extremely helpful, good, competent, and patient Honda dealer in my city, so I just let them order and fit the tyres. I th...

Re: All-season tire reccomendations

I generally tend to go for a 5-10mm wider tracked tired than standard, just to protect my rims from kerb rash a little better. Always have done for the 22 years I've been driving. Oh, yeah, same. With all my previous cars I would scrape and scratch the shit out of my tyres and rims. For some reason...

Re: All-season tire reccomendations

Great to hear feedback from NL which will the most relevant input for me! Also thanks for putting down the exact model numbers, I wouldn't be able to find those on my own. I have 2 questions: 1- (asking out of ignorance) Would those models you put in fit my stock 16'' rims? 2- What made you stray a...

Re: Stated and true consumption

Over 3357 km I've put 684 kWh into the car, which works out to 20.4 kWh/100km. The car's trip computer has never been reset, an it's stating an average consumption of 17.4 kWh/100km. It would appear the true energy consumption is 17% higher than what the car states...does this sound normal? Yes, de...

Re: Hi from Switzerland

A belayed welcome on Swiss roads :-) The V2G solution I would order in a hard beat if they price is not so absurd. With solar panels on the roof and clouds praying on them, there is always a good moment to take advantage. But what a fantastic car it is, that we can even use it a battery! Welcome! I...

Re: Hi from Switzerland

I'd say the e is fine for commuting, but not for 'driving driving'. I just did a 2000 km roadtrip over the weekend. This car is surprisingly good for driving driving. I would even go so far as to say it forces you to be better at driving driving. Normally, I would be completely nackered after such ...

Re: All-season tire reccomendations

Thanks, can I ask why you chose 195/55 as your front 16ins? Well, in my case it was not so much of a conscious choice for a specific tire size, but more a process of elimination. Based on the tire specification, I made a list of all the allowed tire sizes by using a tire calculator. And I did that ...
