a quick update - the car in this morning - its apparently the Pedal Feel Simulator Set - and its going to cost £2679 including fitting to get fixed. And if "it may be worth charging to less than 100% to preserve battery health", why does my Honda e Owners Manual tell me to charge the car to 100% every single time!

Where are you based? It would be good to get a fault read out. Up in sunny cumbria went in the hidden menu to see if I could see any faults… non apparent anyway charged at slow rate to get home and it disappeared. Cuz has a remapping business so will plug in if fault reappears…. And yes I’ve asked ...
