Same here.
When we got the car, I was also critical at first – especially because of the necessary accommodation of the eyes.
But you soon get used to that. I wouldn't want to miss it any more...
Again, same for me, it's something that took a while to be accustomed to but on the whole it's a lot better than then traditional rear view mirror for a couple of reasons:
  • A lot wider angle of view.
  • The camera is at the very rear of the car so you can effectively see round corners if adjacent to large vehicles/walls when reversing which is impossible with the standard mirror.
  • I paid for this feature so I'm dam well going to make use of it :lol:.
It's not perfect as it does fog up and can be very grainy at night, sometimes to the point of being useless but then again the standard mirror is no use in this situation because the rear windows are heavily tinted.
