Hi All,

My charge flap failed to open today when pressing the button. A click can be heard when pressing it but nothing else. After opening the bonnet I can see that the little plastic clip that keeps the release cable in the slot has snapped (see pic). Has anyone experienced similar or could someone help me find a part number? It seems a simple enough fix that I would rather not go back to the dealer with this if possible.

Thanks!

If you cant get a clip I would just araldite it in and tape it down while i sets? If new cable is required eventually it should be able to just prize plastic out of metal with a screwdriver?

Good idea, I think that's what I'll have to end up doing for the time being

Yes, had exactly the same thing, brand new car, drove home from the dealer and found it when I lifted the bonnet.

Haven’t spoken to them yet about it…
