I got stung the first time that this happened and I was left with a non-working satnav for several months and neither my dealer nor Honda UK gave a ****.
Therefore I think that I'll only update it if there's no alternative, especially as my car is now out of warranty.

Tried downloading and it went suspiciously fast, the Jazz download was around 1/2 hour on fast fibre (so limited by Garmin servers) and it is absolutely fine now after a fast update on the original postcode freeze bug a few days before. The E flash shows around 9GB of download, so it should be ok, but it was done in 10 minutes, so either it was a much better time of day for the Garmin servers or maybe its a bug version again?
I updated the navigation yesterday, after download (9GB) put the stick in, update started and at reboot the app hang itself. Black screen no maps loading. Had to factory reset the whole system, after this the navigation works fine. The maps are 2024 V1.1.

Mk4 Jazz and Honda e use the same map data, so if you had already downloaded it for your Jazz, then it only needed to recompile it for your Honda e and not re-download it. That’s why it was quicker.5thcivic wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 3:49 pm Tried downloading and it went suspiciously fast, the Jazz download was around 1/2 hour on fast fibre (so limited by Garmin servers) and it is absolutely fine now after a fast update on the original postcode freeze bug a few days before.
