My front door windows wobble when the doors are opened or closed - does anyone else have this with their e?

The driver's side window makes a bit of a noise when I close the door, as the window wobbles a little against the sides of the lower frame when the door moves. This also happens with the passenger's side window, but not as loudly.

Both windows raise and lower fine, and I haven't experienced any issues with the windows doing their little up/down movements when the doors are closed or opened.

I've searched the forum but not found any other mentions of this. As it happens with both of my front doors, I thought it could be a common issue?

Yeah I get a little clanging/ringing when I close and open the passenger one. I haven't investigated as it's normally just me. I suspect it's from where passengers slam the door a little bit, perhaps a wiring loom tie down has popped off and it clatters onto the window pane? Not worth taking the door apart at the moment for it...

All; cars with frameless doors experience some window movement when closing the door, which is particularly noticeable with the windows down.

This. Both my Subarus do it too. Perfectly normal for frameless doors.

My Cadillac had problems closing the windows at highway speeds, if they were down, too much wobble - then again, the doors were pretty long :-)
