Updating navigation

Does anybody know who to contact regarding updating the navigation options on the navigation screen please? There are two things which may have been mentioned before, so sorry if it's an old topic.
One; Why isn't there a simple 'mute' button to turn off the voice from the navigation screen, rather than the fiddly multi button pressing in settings?
Two; Why does the screen display the time to a destination when I think, being in a limited range car, the distance to it is far more important, to know if there is enough power to get the car there, or would need recharging en route?

I would give up on the idea of contacting anyone.

I don't have an answer for you regarding the built in garmin sat nav software - but all of these problems are solved by using android auto and google maps.

Google maps navigation has a single button to mute the voice instruction.
Google maps also has listed both time and mileage to destination by default.
Android Auto is by far the most useful thing about the car (if you haven't tried it, do try it).

One: You can adjust the navigation voice volume using the volume control on the dash/steering wheel during a navigation instruction, thou there I don't think there is one quick mute, not tried it, you may be able to hold the volume down button to reduce to zero.

Two: You can change what information is displaced in the lower info sections by selecting them and picking the different options.
