Yesterday evening, rainy day here, and a Toyota RAV hit my rear bumper
This morning to the dealer, they advised for bumper replacement even there're only few scratches (polish will make it) & 1/2 cm small dent (they're saying plastic cannot be fixed ). They've checked the car in the workshop and no other damages have been discovered.
Looking here for an advice without knowing how complex replacing the rear bumper is giving the car's electronics.
If too complex or other foreseen side effects, I could stay with the dent and have the bumper polished only.
In any case, full costs will be covered by the insurance.
Thanks,

Rear bumper to replace - Advise Pls
There's not a lot behind it. Parking sensors, rear crash bar and number plate lights, basically.
It's no more complex than replacing the back bumper cover on any other car, really. Everything that's sensitive is within the crash structure of the car, under the boot floor and within the car's floorpan, so there's nothing to worry about.

If it’s blue and in half decent condition would make an offer.
