Just updated to the latest version for iOS (v5.12.10), it's now showing the customized car plate and name correctly. For the rest... seems the same.

After updating it only shows a white screen after sign in.

Hi all, picked up a used e last week and have already been shafted by the app. I was getting the 'Your subscriptions are activating' message, but it never activated. Honda Support have reset my free month subscription in the hope I could get it to work. They gave me instructions below, which confuses me...
1. Does the car need its own internet to connect to the app? I don't fancy paying for a SIM contract.
2. She told me to have the engine on. The instructions I've seen here say to turn the car off?

Thanks in advance!Please remember that both the mobile phone and the vehicle needs to connect directly to the mobile phone network, so the activation must take place in a spot with good mobile network coverage/connectivity.
The mobile phone needs to disable/ turn off bluetooth, wifi, and internet sharing.
The vehicle needs to have the engine turned on, drivers seat belt ON, and Location and datasharing ON.
It takes between 20-30 minutes for the process to conclude successfully.
If it does not activate properly, please contact us back so we can investigate further.

What a ridiculous way to activate a car app. Seriously Honda?!!
The car has its own embedded eSIM in the TCU, so as long as that is activated (car icon with radio waves is white) and the location and data sharing is turn on in the audio screen, the power just needs to be on for the server to send the account details to the TCU. For me it just did it while driving and the app was working.
Here we go with a probable seen 1000 times problem:
After having connected the app and susbscribed to montly plan, all funcionts are up and... not running!
To be more precise, all fuctions that from App go to the car (i.e. setting of preconditioning, setting charges) run. All info from car to app.... fail, always. My app never recognized mileage, never send me notice of charging, never refreshes.... NOTHING AT ALL.
Obviously I don't tell you that speaking with dealer or Customer service is useless... no idea, no action.
I live in Switzerland, by the way.
