Post when you get them. The fronts should be just about flush with the fenders with that offset. Looking forward to seeing what it looks like.
I ordered the RC27 design 6,5x17 ET51 and 7,5x17 ET46 for winter tires. 205/50 for the front, but otherwise as standard. Should arrive next week.
I've been looking at wheel options after taking some measurements & I think that you'll need ET30 at the front & ET20 at the rear to get them flush with the bodywork which should be able to take these because there's minimal lip on the arches.
The problem is that nothing exists with these ETs at 15 (yep these should fit over the calipers/discs), 16, 17 or 18 in steel or alloy & I'd prefer not to use spacers. It's pointless going bigger than 18 because the tyres will be so wide it'll severely effect the drivable range.
In think that I've resigned myself to keeping the wheels/tyres as is because the car has enough electronic aids to get through a UK winter. It'll be no use if I have a car that can be driven in snow if the roads are blocked by the other drivers stranded which is what happens in reality.
The only other reason is for the look (something along the lines of Ronal R50 Polished) but the wheels that I like with tyres and spacer/adaptors are around £2k so that's not going happen.

Acc to my measurement there is about 15mm to fender (top) front and 25mm rear. You need some clearance to avoid rubbing, especially rear where bracket for rear bumper is inside. I wouldn't dare to increase width by more than 10mm front and 20mm rear so ET45 an ET30 respectively.

Above mentioned RC27 with Bridgestone lm005 tires. The tires make a significant change to the feeling of the car - much more supple and noticeable less grip as one would expect. Only a slight winter tyre rumble at certain speeds and it seems range is improved quite a bit (difficult to quantify).

I didn't remember seeing a bracket for rear bumper inside, and after checking again today I still cannot find a bracket at either the front or rear bumpers, please could you photograph what you mean?

Those Michelin's are really sticky After changing to said Bridgestones winter tires, the wife's consumption on her commute has dropped from around 220wh/km to 180wh/km. Same temperature, but difficult make apples to apples comparison anyway. Her current consumption is comparable to what it was during summer. If figures hold tires have a massive impact on range.
