Damnit, I knew I should have bought new rims when fitting the winters. Yours look so much better!

If you would rather have another colour, it could be a candidate for a plasti-dip DIY project. Never tied my self, but have seen a good result.

The OEM wheels on our Advance have these dimensions
Front: 17x6,5" 5x114,3 ET55 Bore 64,1mm
Rear: 17x7,5" 5x114,3 ET50. Bore 64,1mm

What about the standard 16 inch? Does anyone know their dimensions?

Factory 16” wheel size:

• Front: 6Jx16 ET50
• Rear: 7Jx16 ET45
• Front Tyres 185/60 R16
• Rear Tyres 205/55 R16

Factory 17” wheel size:

• Front:6.5Jx17 ET55
• Rear: 7.5Jx17 ET50
• Front Tyres 205/45ZR17
• Rear Tyres 225/45ZR17

These are the tyre width ranges for each wheel width:
Rim width / Min Tyre Width / Ideal Tyre Width / Max Tyre Width
6 Inches 175 mm 185 or 195 mm 205 mm
6.5 Inches 185 mm 195 or 205 mm 215 mm

Would like to use 16” for winter and keep the 17” with the summer tires.

Did anyone go with this approach? I am doing something similar with my volvo but every time these are swapped there is a need to recalibrate the computer. Is this the case with the e too?

Does the volve have TPM modules in the wheels? If so then it's lost contact. I think Honda do it like Mazda measuring difference in wheel rotation to detect deflation in a wheel

As 'milligoon' has mentioned, I also think that the Honda uses wheel rotation, possibly by using the Electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) / Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) / Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) sensor(s) to compare wheel speed. Therefore if all of the wheels/tyres are replaced at the same time then calibration is probably not required, though the manual does state:

You must start deflation warning system calibration every time you:

• Adjust the pressure in one or more tyres.
• Rotate the tyres.
• Replace one or more tyres.

but it's an easy task if you do need to perform it:

The calibration process requires approximately 30 minutes of cumulative driving at speeds between 40-100 km/h (25 - 62 mph).
During this period, if the power system is turned on and the vehicle is not moved within 45 seconds, you may notice the low tyre pressure indicator comes on briefly.
This is normal and indicates that the calibration process is not yet complete.

You can calibrate the system from the customized feature on the audio/information screen.

1. Set the power mode to ON.
2. Select All Apps.
3. Select Vehicle Settings.
4. Select Deflation Warning System.
5. Select Cancel or Calibrate.

• If the Calibration Failed to Start. message appears, repeat step 5.
• The calibration process finishes automatically.

Yes, the Volvo does have TPM modules. However - they mentioned that the calibration was required for the speed & mileage. It is also very likely that they didn’t know what they were talking about as the service quality for Volvo degraded lately here in my country.

Do you know if there are any other options for the 16” rims other than the brock / rc design? They are nice but hard to find at a reasonable price here.

While my car came with the 17" wheels, I wanted 16" for winter use. Once a dealership quoted me more than 2000 € OEM 16" wheels, I decided to go aftermarket, and after quite a bit of searching found a 16" set in exact factory spec (diameter, widths, pcd, offsets, cb) for front and rear. Total cost with delivery was 440 €.
