Same problem, I solved it by creating the stick with windows and not with mac

I just started with Windows, didn’t bother to format it, otherwise I would have to get the config made again in the car etc. It recognized the USB and started downloading. I now also realized that the Mac version has MB instead of KB. I’m getting a very slow download, 4-5MB/s. But it always said 5000MB/s on Mac, which didn’t make much sense.
It could be that the USB is slow, if it’s downloading directly.
Kinda annoying that it doesn’t keep a buffer.

I only have 64-256GB drives that are USB 3. But it seems Garmin MUST have 16GB, no more, no less.

The progress bar in Windows made much more sense as well. It stayed at 99% forever on Mac.

Testing now in the car - worked immediately.
For some reason it said the old version was “1.0” and now installing 2023.10.

Anyone tried changing the car icon? It’s default blue, I change it to a red arrow, but after restarting the car it’s back to blue again.
Style setting, like “Honda” did stay.

The Mk4 Jazz forum reports the Garmin 23 map download is now fixed for the address input freeze. Haven't had a chance to try it myself yet.
