The pink direction arrow has always been there using Apple CarPlay & I’m fairly confident it also applied to Android Auto when I first had my car.

I highly doubt that there will ever be any car specific OTA updates.
There will only be infotainment type updates, see an earlier post in this thread to see what was included this time.

Why did they label it « test update » ? That is what raises my curiosity.londiniumperson wrote: ↑Thu Nov 09, 2023 1:41 pmI highly doubt that there will ever be any car specific OTA updates.

So today when my wife went out to the Honda E this morning, it wouldn't repsond at all to the remote and was totally dead.. I got in (after using the key in the lock) and nothing at all.. Dead Dead Dead... After recharding the 12v Battery it has come back to life and on the dash was a red circle with a 1 in it. That was a signal to download an update.. However the car doens't have a permant WIFI connection and can only tether to my smart phone when it is in the car and I allow it.
So I was wondering has it been trying to update all night and that has caused the battery to go flat?
I have downloaded the system update but didn't click on what is new but think it was an andriod system update.. to 8.1.0? This is the about the system when I look at it, but don't know what it was before...

I suspect this may be the case - it seems coincidence mine also went flat on wednesday night, and after jumpstarting, i had the notification about an update.
My wifi does not stretch to the car from the house.
Also, I know someone else had the same issue also.
You will be the 3rd.
