MyHonda+
Just got a message my subscription has expired just before the 3 years are up. If I look at the app all I get is a link to subscriptions, no car info. Does the app give up all the functions without paying something, the link appears to go straight to payments?
I believe so - there was an email from Honda to say the way the subscriptions work is changing. If you paid for 6or8 years of core connectivity subscription, you were basically going to lose out... I think they tried to consolidate the 4 separate subscriptions into 1 or 2...

Apologies for being ignorant, but does the app have any functionality without a subscription? Or does it only work with a subscription?

So we just found out this morning when attempting to use the app to preheat the car, that we no longer have a subscription.
I must have missed the email about the change to the subscription policy, but I’m pretty pissed off that since we originally paid something for I think 8 years worth of this crappy app, they can go and retrospectively change the offer.
The idea that I would pay £5 a month for their barely functioning, slow, clunky system is laughable.
I’ll just be using the key fob remote to preheat going forward.

Yeah, mine finally ran out today too. Last month or so it's not been giving me even the basic charging notifications, but I'd already decided that it's not worth a monthly fee for the very limited functionality that I use. It's a shame that for all the upfront promises and hassle getting it working on launch that it's turned out to be such a disappointment. Still love the car mind you, but the app has been uninstalled and I'll not look back at with a single jot of regret for doing so.

I'm also disappointed with Honda's service. Now that my subscription has ended, I can't justify renewing it.
It's unacceptable that they broke their initial contract. Sadly, this seems to be Honda's way now—disregarding their commitments and putting customers last.

Got an email today informing me my subscription had ended. A bit redundant, as I discovered that myself last week. Not the most efficient notification system.
Their email notification is about as response as the app was
