Hi,
I’ve noticed I’m getting some condensation in the brake light, is this normal?
Thanks
Condensation in brake light
I've not experienced this personally, but I've seen a couple of lights affected on the e.
The outer lens is exposed to atmosphere as there are a couple of small vent holes in the sides of it. Quite a few modern cars do this because of the heat that LED lights produce. So long as the inner housing that holds the actual lights (the rings for the indicator and tail light, as well as the two brake lights) aren't getting condensation in them, then electrically you'll be fine.
It's not ideal, but it can happen when there's a lot of temperature variation and moisture in the air. If it's consistent then it may be more of a problem with how the unit is sealed, and it might be worth a trip to Honda to have it checked out and replaced under warranty if needed.
