I missed this news last week, very sad. Hopefully a buyer can be found so that the app can continue to function (mine is still working for now, but don't know how much longer that will be the case).

That's a shame.
It highlights the issue of proprietary & cloud-based systems, hopefully the MyHonda+ app will survive for many years even if is a poor product.

This is one reason that where possible I choose smart home devices, etc that are not reliant on the internet.

I'm hoping that they get picked up and continue obviously, for now shifted my schedules from their app to the in-car scheduler (once I'd worked out where to set "home" as I'd not even once opened the navigation app).

Mine is still working in normal mode accessed via app for schedules & solar settings etc, when it stops giving access I'll simply reset it into fall back mode.

It'd be nice if someone could pick up the cloud service even if it means paying a nominal annual fee, or maybe they could let you run the service on a home pc or raspberry pi on your own network and let the setup access that to give owners the option to control it. I won't hold my breath though.
