Indeed I will. Thanks iHansz.
Do the driving dynamics of the E make it all worthwhile?
If there were.. they're dead now... Yesterday I've traveled with temperatures upwards of 37.. up to 41c...

Of course Parker87 was lucky to be able to arrange a Test Drive before making the switch! Some of us registered our interest and put down a deposit long before cars were even available to professional reviewers. And yes, we placed our orders and committed to buying, just based on the spec’s. I did manage to see the Honda e Prototype at the Design Museum in the July, before ordering in September, but we weren’t allowed to touch, or get inside! And I was the first visitor through the doors to see it.
I did get a solo, hour long “test drive” in the Dealer's grey demo, as they got theirs before us Customers. But that was only a week before my “delivery” date - although my car was in their compound, awaiting “preparation”. But it has lived up to expectations, in fact the Test Drive confirmed my “rash decision” to buy an expensive “small, City Car” in the hope that it is equally at home in rural England.
But had to wait until August the next year for delivery, despite “promises” of March/April launch. I'm glad that your gamble has paid off for you Advance 2020, particularly as your main usage is on rural roads. Similarly, my main usage is on rural B roads and in small towns, and I find the E to be very well suited to this environment, which is great. Well done Honda.
I'm pleased to hear it FDAD!
I don't envy you your high temperatures in Portugal at the moment - we in the uk had 2 days of it and that was too much for me.

That seems such a long time ago now.advance2020 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 23, 2022 2:39 pm Of course Parker87 was lucky to be able to arrange a Test Drive before making the switch! I also saw the Honda e Prototype at the Design Museum which coincidently was the same day that Hyper Japan (which coincidentally is on this weekend) was on at Olympia, which my daughter wanted to go to, so we stopped off to see the Honda e on the way (checking my Google Maps timeline shows we were in the Design Museum between 14:16 & 14:49).
