Front and back emblems?
The Honda badges aren't black - I got this confirmed when I enquired about the LE at my dealer. You can also see the badge on the front of the LE in this thread sporting the blue surround.
The black badge they're talking about is the "Honda e" model badge on the hatch, and the silver accents are painted black on the 17" 'gas burner' style wheels on the LE. These are the only differences between the LE and the regular e advance.
You can also order the regular e in Premium Crystal Red now too, so there's no real point in the limited edition to be honest, given that the only limited edition stuff is the black Honda e badge on the hatch, and the slight difference in wheels. You could basically buy the red one, de badge it and get the wheels fully powder coated black, and you'd basically have a car that was indistinguishable from the Limited Edition.
When I get mine, I'll probably look for red type-r "H" badges in the right size, and replace the silver and blue ones to match the red paint.

Type r badges would actually be cool on the red.
I thought for sure it would be more than just removing the diamond cut and having a black rear (text) emblem.
I’ll use my vinyl cutter to make some covers to cover them up. The nice thing is that it’s then reversible if I later grow tired of all black, or if I want to sell the car and can offer both looks.
There was a 6 month old limited edition that showed up here just after I ordered. He even dumped the price by 30%.
Well, considering all the dust, grime and trash in the pictures, he probably didn’t take too much care of it anyways.

Once I get my e delivered I'm going to measure up and see if there are any red badges that are the same size for other Honda models, if there are, I'll order a pair and swap them out (my car is coming red, and I agree they'd look super cool)
If not, I think I'll do the same as you, and black them out.

Had a chance to compare with a limited edition now.
Both the front and back “H” emblem are tinted, but not black. The “Honda e” emblem seems to be black, or a dark tint.
Not sure I liked it to be honest, it kinda disappears on a distance.
But anyways, they are definitely not chrome.

As I just got my Honda the first thing that bothered me was the Chrome. Good news it is only found on the badges and the "honda e" letters. For the letters - gone with the wind....the badges though, are something to play with.
As Thingyverse already has a few Honda badges, I will use them as a starter and finally print them and smoothen the print once a final badge is created.
Question at this point - any of you guys that already went down that road?
Cheers

Do you have any pictures of the removal of the badges, how you pulled them, and what access there is to the retainers on the back of them, plus what panel you need to pull from the hatch to get the rear one out?
