My Honda+ subscriptions are undergoing some exciting changes

I’ve just lost all functionality even though it said base functionality was valid until 2029 yesterday. They really don’t want us to use the app or buy another Honda ever again.

That's a relief that you have checked & confirmed that we will keep the 8 years Core Connectivity because it was implied that ALL subscriptions would be combined one for a further single year for those of us that purchased cars over 3 years ago.

BTW - Nothing has changed on the app for me yet.

How did you keep your extended Core subscription?

As I had expected, and as per Honda’s communication mine has been reduced down to one year. It now ends in Nov 2024 whereas it used to be until Nov 2028.

Yep. Yesterday I still had core connectivity until 2032, now it's bundled in with the extra crap I didn't want and runs out July 2025. How disappointing.

I concur that it’s very disappointing losing those additional years.
I suspect that app won’t be active that long anyway. In a year or so, I suspect that those decisions makers that ‘own’ the app will tell the big cheeses at the top that very few owners are willing to pay for the app and therefore will cull it early.

This is exactly what I expect from Honda.
It is now clear with hindsight that they have been deceitful from day one about the Honda e, from the ‘prototype’ to production and have proven time and time again shown their true colours.

a new version of the app has been released and visible in the system now (v. 6.2.14).
hope it will solve the issues you might see here.
the new models are still NOT supported.

I have 6.2.14 and my core was 2029, and 2030, now is shown as 2024 for one car and 2025 for the other. Does this mean that the app is worthless after this time without payment?

I read this last Friday, waited something happened - this morning remote Climate control etc worked all fine, this afternoon 'No Subscription' .... so we just wait??

There's a new updated app for iOS. However, it consistently indicates that I have no subscriptions, despite tinkering with the app multiple times, and they are indeed present again. The app aligns poorly on an iPhone 14. The 'back' button in the top left is unreachable as it's positioned too high. Etcetera, etcetera. Sloppy work. 🙄

'Welcome to Honda app' e-mail arrived, it seems working all OK now ?? Digital key was offered there as well so I activated it (though I'm not intending to use much).
