Hi all,
New owner of a Honda e, 70 plate with 15kmiles. Tonight when leaving the house, the system flashed up saying the boot was a jar, so went and closed it. Now the handle won't open the boot at all.
Any ideas or has it happened to anyone? Is there a way to pop it from the inside?

From the manual:
2020 Advance in Crystal Black Pearl on 17's - 08/2020-Current
2015 VW Tiguan (Pure White) - 04/2018-Current
1991 Honda Beat PP1 (Festival Red) - 11/2022-Current

Just to double check, there are 2 buttons in the boot handle.
There is a larger one on the left which should open it.
There is a smaller one on the right which is to lock the car. Unless you've read the manual it might not be obvious.
To answer the original question, I've never had any trouble with the boot latch or even seen the warning... Perhaps manually opening it will reset the mechanism/switch and bring it back to life. Maybe it's never been used and the mech is stuck a little.
