That’s the warning light that popped up when I tried my first change on a Tesla Supercharger and I had the red light on the charging port , the car wouldn’t charge, on returning home I used the 7kW home charger to fully charge the car and the following day that symbol went away and everything seemed to be normal, it hasn’t come on again and I successfully charged at the same Supercharger for 15 minutes without issues a couple of weeks later.

Yes. But my notification remains permanently in it. And the dealer can't find any error codes.

Perhaps the recall will work.

I think it's unlikely that the recall update will work because the nature of your warning is different, but fingers crossed for you! Have you contacted Honda CS directly about your problem yet?

Carried out the recall. And updated every possible ECU/module

Still no DTC of faultcode showing but permanent error showing on the speedometer. So what parameter trips the instrument cluster. Or is the cluster itself living its own life.

this is indeed odd ... it breaks somehow the rational of the entire system and its diagnostic capabilities ... you should get at least a code even if that is "unknown" and requires additional (internal/honda) investigation to be done.

however, if this is the case, i would ask Honda to fully reinit the entire car - flash the firmware module by module. i don't know if this is possible with honda e however other vendors can do it on certain cars.
