Recall software update
My car got the update last week. But at the moment the mechanic connected the car to the diagnostic system and made a failure code check, the range jumped from 149km to 177km. He made no update at this time. Luckily after the update the range didn't go back to 149km. And since then my car has a total range of more than 200km. In the last 2 years i never saw more than 190km. But now easy over 200km.MainMind wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2024 3:25 pm In Spain Honda is already applying the update, the national traffic agency (DGT) has also notified all owners about the free process at the dealership.
It may be related to the checks and response time (timeout) between the car control unit and the charger during the charging check process?
And indeed there were 2 more, one of them from the water pump. After the update it seems that the autonomy has improved

You can't increase the range of a battery, you can adjust the software if it was conservative on cell rotation to increase battery life long term to be less conservative and that would lead naturally to an increase in display milage between charges.
Had the update carried out yesterday and immediately tested it on a Tesla V3 pole. Unfortunately, after about 1 minute I get the message "lost connection to charger".
I have tried 3 different poles, but always the same message. Anyone have an idea what this could be?

Today I did the update but I am not sure if they really successfully installed the update. Is there a way to check somewhere the version please?
I checked the software version in the diagnostics menu which did not change at all but I am not sure if that has anything to do with this updated software.
Anybody knows please?

I haven’t got my Honda e to work with any fast charger, neither did my E-Up which I had before. So I thought this was an issue with old vs new style EV’s.
The E-Up worked sometimes with 50kWh chargers, but not anything higher.
I had my Honda in for a driver seat fix, and there was one software update they had to do to get the driver seat issue approved by Honda.
I don’t know what they updated, but I believe it had something to do with the dashboard?
I’ll give it another go on a fast charger. That would make this card even better if it could do that now!
