I apologise for not having provided the correct information sooner, but as mentioned, the campaign was only launched today, 22 January."
It seems like there's been a significant delay in communication.
I was informed that Honda were writing to owners about this issue in early December when my brake simulator needed replacing.

Hello All, thought that i would drop a quick update - i received a letter from honda just after christmas informing me of a product recall for my brake problem, (about 8 months after i had paid for it), i dont even have the car any more as it went back to the lease company in November, but after a bit of back and forth they agreed to refund the entire cost, and i received the cheque in the post on saturday. Good luck all

Well that's brilliant, well done!
I've received *nothing* yet, but look forward to a similar discussion with Honda about the repair that I paid for back in April '24.
To install another simulator which will eventually fail again will not help. There is a recall in the pipeline. Honda is aware of the problem.
Sorry, are we saying that the replacement simulators will also fail? I thought the issue with their oil seals was a manufacturing fault that was resolved by their supplier prior to any replacements?
Of course not, a major manufacturer is not going to have a recall for a known faulty component and replace it with the same faulty component. The whole delay is because of getting enough stock of the new part to satisfy world demand.
So is this brake simulator issue definitely acknowledged/confirmed by Honda as covered under internal 'recall'?
My e is currently with Honda. They had to order the new part in, had it for over a week now. When I went to collect a courtesy car on Friday the lady implied it was covered....under warranty. My car's warranty recently expired but I'm hesitant to buy their warranty package if she's just trying to sell me one when it isn't necessary for this repair.
My E had this exact problem last month, 2020 model. Went to the dealership after the EP warning appeared then soon after the breaks were not engaging properly. Dealer quote was £2,900 and a lead time of 2 months for the break simulator.
Honda Europe agreed to pay the full amount even though I didn’t have extended warranty and the part was much quicker than expected and was all sorted in two weeks.
