An additional piece advice is to NOT subscribe the £49 subscription until you are sure the app is fully operational.
I've learnt from my mistake  hopefully others can benefit from my empty wallet ;)

Your Dealer should provide you with these instructions, but you guys might want to check these out before hand. Especially note stages when you have to wait.

And note comment above that maybe your VIN may not be recognised, if your car has only just been Registered.

NB!
Attached images are in the right sequence*, but there are in REVERSE ORDER.
so read from Bottom Up - sorry - *note one is out of sequence Page 4 (deleted my VIN) hope you can work it out. Not sure how re-order Attachments.

Is that your VIN number on one of the images? If so, better remove that image.

Let me get this straight, we have to pay for the car app to function and the in car assistant to function?

I would have thought that's be free for the first 3-5 years like on other cars?

If that is the case what features does it provide and what functionality is lost without it?

Check: https://www.honda.co.uk/cars/owners/my- ... ption.html

You can see the pricing structure there for each package:

Core Connectivity: Free for first owner
Digital key: Free and available from 2021
In car wifi: Costs depend on usage. You use your mobile phone as a hotspot. Not sure what benefit this has as other users can just connect to your hotspot.
Personal assistent: £49 per annum
Safety & Journey: Free for the first year for first owner. £29 per annum after that

Cheers for that.

Could be costly if you have everything, any idea what the Garmin satnav updates will cost? Currently only £16.99 for the whole of Europe on my Garmin.

So I seem to be in the position where I have tried to activate the 3 subscriptions at once and everything is stuck. How do I fix this so I can go through the process of requesting the subs in the correct order?

You need to ring Honda support and get them to reset the subs.

Cheers for the info.

When my car gets here may see what the dealer knows or doesn't know regarding all these.

Handy to go in prepared.
