There is an app called Power cruise control that claims that it works with the Honda e. Was always listed as coming soon for honda e but just now is available. Anyone tried it?

I have ordered the suggested OBD2 adapter Vgate vLinker BM+ Bluetooth 4.0, hopefully will work.....

With my OBD2 adapter it did not work, but my OBD2 is not BLE so it my have worked if it was BLE.
I was already going to buy one that is BLE as ABRP now uses Bluetooth to calculate SOC live.

I don't think that Bluetooth low energy has anything to do with car's ECU compatibility. I am more worried about the type of protocols that the adapter can read. Hopefully I will get one that is compatible with the Honda E. Then you need an app that can read the data of the Honda E. At least this app can show the battery's temperature and charging speed in kW. I would have liked to have more data, like kW rate while driving and during regen braking. Things like when friction brakes are activated would have been awesome too. I used to have all this on the Toyota cars. Hopefully in the future more data will come out.

I meant to say that my adapter is old... So a more modern one might do the trick...

Interesting, when I get a chance I’ll see if any of my OBDII dongles work.
It looks like there’s a 30 day free trial then £20.99pa.

Hi, I can confirm that Power Cruise Control can show:
Battery Temperature, battery state, Aux battery 12V, current draw/charging rate.

You need Vgate vLInker-BM+-BT4.0 (only Bluetooth version works) and a paid subscription for PCC.
Currently iOS is in beta testing, Android is available.

It doesn't, but it has everything to do with the app's compatibility with the OBDII interface.

Is this the correct adapter?
