Electric Servo Brake (“Brake Booster”) - 01469-TYF-J01 SIMULATOR SET, BRAKE OPERATING (REWRITABLE)

Had mine fail and throw up a laundry list of errors. No idea why it failed.

Besides the errors, did it fail completely or something else?

It failed completely, similar to when a brake booster in an ICE fails, the brake pedal feel was completely ruined and I had to step hard and almost to the end of the pedal travel to get braking.

All the assist features that used brake assist also failed, including (from what I can remember):

- All collision avoidance
- Lane keeping/cut-in prediction
- Cruise control
- 1 pedal mode
- Brake hold

Including one more I did not expect, the steering assist was also disabled (I assume this is brake/torque steering), so the steering wheel felt different.

Great feedback, thanks for taking the time. :)

No mention of a recall with a safety critical part failure?

Thanks to this thread, I just realised I didn't have the letters "HONDA E" on the back anymore. Well, it was actually when someone asked me what type of Renault I was driving, and I was trying to point at the non-existent "E" on the back. The letters were removed after wrapping the car, and simply forgot to apply new letters.

I was wondering... can the front and back H emblems be easily replaced with existing Type R emblems of the same or similar size?

I was thinking these ones:
75700-S5T-E01 (width 9,2 cm x height 7,5 cm)
75701-S6M-Z01 (width 8,6 cm x height 7,0 cm)
2021 Honda e Advance on 16" RC30 wheels with Goodyear 195/55 & 205/55 tyres.
Wrapped in Red metallic with full black and cinnamon leather interior.
