My Honda+ subscriptions are undergoing some exciting changes

My reading of this is that there will no longer be any free tier of Honda+ after whatever free period is described and for all access you'll need to pay £4.99 per month? That's..... something of a challenging sell I would think?

I only want the core connectivity package and that's what I paid for. Guess I'm getting a pro-rated refund and uninstalling the app

At least those of us outside of the 3 yr free period will get a year of all of the services.
To be honest other than pre-heating and very occasionally changing the max charge limit at home setting, I doubt that I’d miss the app in a year’s time.

On second thoughts, I will also miss the notifications when the car starts/stops charging.

It looks like my current free Core Connectivity subscription will be truncated from 17 November 2028.
I would have preferred that to continue as-is and forego any additional features whether paid or not.

Yeah, me too. I mean that's all I use as it's really just basic service connection to the car (notifications, climate etc).

I find that the app is so slow, so I usually just use the key to start heating anyways.

Honda is probably converting things now, as the app now indicates the following: "This vehicle is currently not supported by My Honda+" and get into nothing else. Yesterday, everything was still up and running. Other people also suffering from this?
