That's really interesting, because I thought the same! I have done a LOT of messing about with it though to sound half decent.
FWIW, here are my current settings: This rear shift makes the biggest improvement. Without it, the rears are basically doing nothing!

I’ve got to try giving mine the rickwookie treatment tomorrow. Granted, I mostly listen to BBC World Service now that I have the option - but it would be nice for the occasional bit of Grieg, Dire Straits, or Mr. B the Gentleman Rhymer (eclectic is probably a good word for my musical preferences).

thanks for taking the trouble to post this rickwookie - will give it a go as I too, have been underwhelmed by the much vaunted Honda e 'premium' audio set up.
