I've been looking at wheel options after taking some measurements & I think that you'll need ET30 at the front & ET20 at the rear to get them flush with the bodywork which should be able to take these because there's minimal lip on the arches.Trykpaa wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 8:00 pm Post when you get them. The fronts should be just about flush with the fenders with that offset. Looking forward to seeing what it looks like.
I ordered the RC27 design 6,5x17 ET51 and 7,5x17 ET46 for winter tires. 205/50 for the front, but otherwise as standard. Should arrive next week.
The problem is that nothing exists with these ETs at 15 (yep these should fit over the calipers/discs), 16, 17 or 18 in steel or alloy & I'd prefer not to use spacers. It's pointless going bigger than 18 because the tyres will be so wide it'll severely effect the drivable range.
In think that I've resigned myself to keeping the wheels/tyres as is because the car has enough electronic aids to get through a UK winter. It'll be no use if I have a car that can be driven in snow if the roads are blocked by the other drivers stranded which is what happens in reality.
The only other reason is for the look (something along the lines of Ronal R50 Polished) but the wheels that I like with tyres and spacer/adaptors are around £2k so that's not going happen.
