However: Screen scraping? That would be lousy, of course...
There's no other way to access this data without a Honda API.

Does it give any additional information above what we get from the current app? i.e. does the battery health report work etc..

It looks like this was originally an open source project and it was previously possible to host your own version with the advantage that you would not have to hand over your MyHonda+ app login details.
However the software has disappeared, I've requested further information from the company.

Without an API, the only accessible data/function is that as displayed on the MyHonda app, just in a different format with the possibility of storing historic data.

I have had a reply to my email:
We still have the docker image: https://hub.docker.com/repository/docke ... nc/general
About the repo we are restructuring something and will be open source again. But currently there is no OpenSource
integration for Honda only for BMW, Tesla
.

If you register a new car in Tronity you get the option to record your vehicle data via your local PC – see: https://app.tronity.io/vehicles/private
I understand everything may run on a private computer: no Tronity server, no cloud.
Am I misunderstanding something? Does this not apply to the Honda e?

What's your experience of the Tronity app update speed in comparison to the MyHonda+ app, is it same at approximately 1min or apparently instantaneous?

This must be screen scraping the MyHonda+ app seeing as there's no API, my worry is that this Tronity app will be regularly broken at each MyHonda+ app update.

Considering that this is a beta app I would have expected it to be FOC until officially released.

EDIT:
I just saw that you said:
The only downside is the charging percentage does not update as fast as the Honda app.
therefore this confirms my suspicion of it screen scraping, with the result that it'll be even slower to update than the official MyHonda+ app :(
It’s about 2 minutes behind MyHonda+ On average so for me it’s acceptable,

How cool is that widget though!

That was also my understanding & if you read my previous comments you'll see the company's reply.
Here is their website URL headed 'Private Deployment (Open Source)' with some info:

Excellent - what do pay for then with regard to the Tronity subscription service?
Will you give it a try?

So as soon as they open source the Honda integration, and update the docker image, I can run it on my home server.. I guess I just lose the fancy iPhone app?
