I'm guessing that a few of us are getting - or have got - that reminder in their cars that it's time to head for the first service.

I didn't sign up for any service package (actually, I wasn't offered one, but probably wouldn't have taken it anyway) by my dealer, so phoned up to book it earlier this week. It's a while-I-wait "full inspection"; 117UKP (inc VAT).

My dealer has been really good so far, although I've not really asked much of them post delivery. What's the collective experience of your first e service?

Oh and I asked, no pollen filter swap is part of the routine this time, before someone mentions that ;)

Please could you tell me the dealership that quoted this price because only yesterday I was quoted £175 inc VAT for the first service and today I was just about to book it in along with the replacement door switch. As of yesterday it just got worse and now the driver's window opens/closes every few seconds which is not only annoying on a 35 min commute but concerning that it doesn't fully close when I shut the door and lock the car, especially with wet weather on the horizon and also only the day before a bunch of scumbags hacked off a catalytic converter from a neighbour's car at 1am.
BTW the neighbour reported it to the police, but as expected they weren't interested even though they & my son saw the criminals.

Thanks, I'll see if I can get a price match with my local stealership.

I was quoted £175 and I think it should include a pollen filter swap as that it mentioned in the handbook, every 10k miles or 1 year.

Hmm, now see I'm out voted 2-1 on this now. Maybe my lot are wrong?

Going for mine on Friday. They said it takes 3.5h, but I think they’re confused. It’s not an ice car. :-)

In ours, correcting the gasket and applying some silicone solved this problem. In the mean time, you can mitigate by rolling down the window by 5mm (i.e a tiny bit, so still "closed") when driving.

Service took about 1.5h including the seatbelt warning software update. Just a visual check and nothing else. Waste of time, and it left a horrible smell of oil in the car.

I am temped to do all the maintenance myself from now on.
